Stretch Goals!

Congrats, everyone, we've reached our initial goal of $25,000! Attacking the Darkness has the funding it needs to release on DVD this fall. We are sincerely thankful that you've all taken a chance on this passion project that we squeezed in between JourneyQuest and Gamers. It's heartening to see so many of you believe in a film that we absolutely HAD to make. Thank you!
We have a day remaining to achieve the Blu-ray stretch goal, which will give every backer at the DVD level the choice of an upgrade to Blu-ray at no additional cost. That stretch goal activates at $34,000. Based on our prior Kickstarter's final days it's entirely possible that we'll make it.
When you do share, explain why you enjoyed the movie (if you've seen it already), what it meant to you, and why fan supported and creator distributed films are important to you.
And to celebrate reaching our initial goal, here's a playlist of nine deleted scenes and cuts from the film. If you've watched the movie already, you'll quickly see why these were cut: a rare moment where Lauren breaks character, jokes that were funny but not appropriate, or gags that slowed down the pacing or focus.
If you haven't seen the film, it's available in special preview on YouTube ONLY until this campaign ends. After that, it goes back in the vault until our official release this fall.

Almost there...Stay on target

Less than $1000 to go -- and less than 24hrs to get there!
It's coming down to the wire, everyone: we have until 9pm Pacific Time on Friday July 1 to reach our target. Depending on your time zone, that's probably today.
Currently, if everyone who's already pledged chipped in just over $1 ($1.0418552, to be exact) we'd reach our goal with just the people who've already committed to helping this film succeed. If you've been on the fence about moving to a higher reward level, now's the time to do it!
Want to join in the insanity of the AtD: "non-RPG RPG"? (it's an RPG, just don't tell Harmony Hope...) Or grab a never-again-offered Jupiter Ridge T-shirt? (I cannot overstate how simultaneously happy and dirty that shirt makes me feel) If so, THIS is the time to do it! We're trucking along and should reach our destination in time, but it certainly takes a load off when you get there early.
As always, THANK YOU for continuing to demonstrate such support for the work we do: we cannot do this without you, and even if we could it'd be a heck of a lot less fun. You ARE the reason we "make the funny", and it's always a pleasure to build the ZOE community together.

Final Week + A Sneak Preview

We're down to the final four days of our campaign to raise funds for the Attacking the Darkness release this fall and have something special to share with all of you today.
Now through the end of the campaign, we are streaming the entire film, for free, exclusively on our YouTube channel. If you like what you see, please help spread the word! From the beginning, we've been a company that believes in the power of free releases. Every time we've done one, the fans have come through to raise the funding we need. We are a fan funded company and your pledges, comments, and shares keep us producing the kind of stories that could never be made in Hollywood.
Why now? Because whenever people see this movie, they get it. What better way to illustrate why this movie deserves a big release than to show everyone exactly why we're so proud of it?
Your pledges will help us manufacture DVDs and Blu-rays, help us pay for submission to aggregators for release on platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and iTunes, help us arrange more screenings like the recent Seattle premiere, and help us get the word out.
