Hi, everyone!
We have loads of good news to share.
First, we've confirmed that ATD will launch on iTunes the week of December 5th. Other platforms are still in progress, but we'll update you as we receive word. Getting onto these sales platforms was a big goal for this campaign and it's happening!
Based on that December 5th date, we're working backwards to line out our complete release strategy, with a focus on pre-sales for iTunes, Vimeo, and maybe even BitTorrent Now to encourage those platforms to give us an extra push.
DVDs are done. Digital downloads are also ready to go. The module is being written currently. It's being created by Dead Gentlemen Productions under their Demon Hunters system. The writer is Cam Banks, who is perfect for the job. The concept they've come up with is hilarious.
Based on this timeline, we expect to do BackerKit surveys in October or early November. Those will let us know t-shirt sizes, give all of you a chance to select extras or upgrades, and provide digital fulfillment.
Best case scenario, we'll combine shipping for ATD and JourneyQuest, allowing us to increase efficiency and decrease costs, especially for our overseas backers.
We are aiming to ship rewards when the film goes live on iTunes, which will help us concentrate attention for the film.
Thanks for your patience. We're on track and excited to deliver this film to as many people as possible.
We'll keep you updated as the promotions begin to ramp up. There will be a number of easy ways for you to help us boost awareness for the project as we barrel toward our iTunes release date.
As always, don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Thanks!

Talk about your fast turnaround time!
On Friday (July 15), the illustrious and uber-talented Ben Dobyns returned from a Strowlers-related shoot in Ireland. Barely 4 days later (and only 2 days after receiving the rest of the footage from me!) he's nearly completed the entire DVD and digital file! Seriously, folks: that's impressive.
Translation: we are super close to sending things off to the duplicator, and chugging along with everything at a healthy pace.
'Til next time!
